Some people think school administrators should monitor student speech outside of school. They believe schools have a responsibility to protect their students and the reputation of their school.

Other people think students have a right to say whatever they want on a personal webpage. They believe that if a school tries to restrict what students do outside of school, it violates the student’s right to freedom of speech.
