It is now 2010. The governor of Arizona passes one of the country's strictest immigration laws. It says that all immigrants must carry documents that prove they are in the country legally. Police in Arizona have the right to stop anyone they suspect is an illegal immigrant. Two Republican senators suggest that the government should make a change to The Fourteenth Amendment. They say that the children of illegal immigrants should also be considered illegal. President Obama says that he would like to pass a new immigration law.
