In July 2010, a Pennsylvania high school student was suspended for creating a fake MySpace profile for his school principal. The case went to court. A Pennsylvania District Court Judge said that the student’s punishment was too harsh and went against the U.S. Constitution. The student should not have been suspended because he created the profile outside of school during his free time.
