Imagine it’s the 1780’s and you live in Boston. Your father remembers when American colonists dumped tea into Boston’s Charles River. The colonists had a Boston Tea Party to protest the taxes they were forced to pay the British government. The British government did not give them a fair trial. There was no jury. A judge found them guilty and sent them to England.
